O presidente da Câmara Municipal, Américo Nascimento, participou hoje na entrega de materiais escolares na escola primária de Juncalinho ofertados por uma emigrante, residente na Holanda, Anita Cruz, que conseguiu um donativo de 10 computadores e vários materiais escolares que vão beneficiar os alunos e a comunidade da aldeia.

 
Américo Nascimento foi convidado para participar na entrega já que a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava tem sido uma das principais parceiras da Delegação do Ministério da Educação em São Nicolau e, por conseguinte, da Escola Primária de Juncalinho.


Dirigindo algumas palavras aos alunos, professores, pais e encarregados de educação, o autarca enalteceu o gesto da emigrante, como um exemplo a ser seguido, e que mostra que a Educação é uma tarefa de todos.


O presidente, assim como o delegado de Educação e o gestor do Polo de Juncalinho, Dionísio Firmino e João César Silva, respectivamente, deixaram aos presentes recomendações para tratarem com carinho a escola e os materiais ora adquiridos e a tomarem iniciativas que possam fazer da escola um exemplo no município.


E foi assim que, graças a benevolência de uma cidadã consciente, que a comunidade estudantil, professores, pais e encarregados de educação se reuniram para a entrega dos materiais que, para a satisfação de todos, vão incrementar o ensino nesse estabelecimento, principalmente a nível informático.

É que, apartir  agora, já vai ser possível pôr em prática que o gestor quer um projecto que pretende que alunos do sexto ano de escolaridade saiam do ensino primário já com algumas noções de informática.

À Anita Cruz, um muito obrigado pela iniciativa, que em muito vai ajudar no desenvolvimento educativo dos alunos de Juncalinho e assim, passo a passo, com a contribuição de todos, vamos desenvolvendo o nosso município.
