Ribeira Brava e Abrantes assinaram protocolo de Atribuição de Bolsas de Estudo

Foi nos meados deste mês que a Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava reforçou a geminação com a sua homóloga de Abrantes, em Portugal, com a assinatura de um protocolo de atribuição de bolsas de estudos a estudantes do município, o qual entrará em vigor no próximo ano lectivo de 2013/2014.

A assinatura do protocolo, que tem o alto patrocínio da Embaixada de Cabo Verde em Portugal, aconteceu sessão solene das comemorações do Dia da cidade de Abrantes, no dia 14 de Junho, em que o edil ribeira-bravense esteve na cidade a participar das actividades.

Sendo a educação e a formação de recursos humanos uma das prioridades de intervenção neste concelho, abrem-se assim novas portas para os jovens que queiram seguir a sua formação profissional.

Deste modo os alunos que virão a ser seleccionados, processo que ficará a cargo da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava, vão ingressar em estabelecimentos de ensino do concelho de Abrantes, nomeadamente a Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Abrantes do Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (ESTA/IPT) e a Escola Profissional de Desenvolvimento Rural de Abrantes (EPDRA).

Por outro lado, a integração de alunos do município da Ribeira Brava nas escolas atrás referidas reforçará a dinâmica e a capacidade atractiva destas Instituições de Ensino.

A gestão e acompanhamento das Bolsas de Estudo são atribuídos ao Rotary Clube de Abrantes.

De realçar também que o município da Ribeira Brava terá uma forte presença nas festas da cidade da sua congénere através de um stand com exposição de produtos tradicionais, quais sejam grogue, doces, farinha de mandioca, rendas, bordados e bijuterias.

Para além desses artefactos, em parceria com a Associação para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento, Morabeza, sediada em Portugal, foi confeccionada uma cachupa tradicional com ingredientes genuínos levados directamente do município, durante um espaço intercultural, no dia 15 de Junho.
