A Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava quer acabar com os atrasos nos desfiles de Carnaval e que têm vindo a manchado esta manifestação cultural e para isso tem a disposição dos grupos oficiais um prémio de pontualidade no valor de 150 mil escudos.

 

Esta medida está em vigor há alguns anos, mas até agora nenhum grupo conseguiu o feito de chegar à hora prevista no Terreiro, zona de concentração dos desfiles carnavalescos.
O vereador da Cultura informa que a edilidade está empenhada em fazer mudar a mentalidade e por isso, mais uma vez, tem o prémio de pontualidade para os grupos que chegarem no horário estipulado.
Carlos Barbosa explica que a intenção é que à meia-noite todos os grupos estejam no Terreiro, sendo a ordem de chegada conforme o sorteio que será realizado dentro de dias.
“Conforme a chegada dos grupos assim será a divisão do montante. No entanto se se registar a chegada de apenas um grupo no horário previsto, este levará o premio na sua totalidade”, explica.
Apesar de até o ano passado nenhum grupo ter arrecadado o prémio, o vereador da Cultura elogia os esforços dos dirigentes dos grupos que têm mostrado a sua disponibilidade em reverter a situação dizendo que vão ser tomadas medidas diferentes para que o trabalho árduo dos artistas e de todos os que estão envolvidos na preparação do Carnaval seja devidamente apreciado e valorizado.
Fica por isso o apelo a todos para que os grupos saiam à rua no horário previsto, não só no sábado, dia 01 de Março, mas também nos dias 02 e 04, domingo e terça-feira de Carnaval, respectivamente.
