Romance Chiquinho será adaptado para peça de teatro com actores da Ribeira Brava

O romance Chiquinho, de Baltasar Lopes, será adaptado para uma peça de teatro na qual participam actores dos grupos de teatro da Ribeira Brava, uma iniciativa Associação Artística e Cultural, Mindelact, que conta com a parceria da Câmara Municipal da Ribeira Brava.
Antes dos ensaios para a peça, decorreu, na cidade da Ribeira Brava, uma formação de teatro que segundo a encenadora Sara Estrela, teve como objectivo preparar os actores com novos métodos de trabalho.
“Dessa formação vão sair alguns actores para a montagem da peça em questão para depois começar o processo criativo e a estreia está prevista para 26 de Setembro para encerramento do Mindelact 2015”, informou a encenadora.
Depois da apresentação no Mindelact, Sara Estrela diz que o mais certo é viajar com a peça e fazer a sua apresentação em outras ilhas, à semelhança do que a Associação Artística tem vindo a fazer com outros projectos de adaptação de grandes obras da nossa literatura.
Os ensaios vão decorrer durante todo o mês de agosto e serão abertos ao público.
Ao mesmo tempo, Sara Estrela assegura que está também no terreno a recolher informações como músicas e histórias do imaginário colectivo da ilha pelo que todas as sugestões são bem-vindas para que a peça possa ser um retrato de São Nicolau e suas gentes.
Quanto ao nome da peça a encenadora diz que a proposta inicial é que seja “Como quem houve uma melodia muito triste”, a primeira frase do romance Chiquinho.
